TRAIL and Rudy Gobert join forces to launch WELL
TRAIL, a Paris-based private equity firm, announces the launch of WELL (Wellness, Energy, Longevity and Legacy fund), a private equity fund co-initiated with Rudy Gobert, French NBA player and four-time Defensive Player of the Year.
A fund jointly initiated by TRAIL and an elite athlete
WELL is the first fund initiated by an active elite athlete and an investment firm. It is a sector-specific fund entirely dedicated to wellness and longevity. This unprecedented partnership combines the knowledge of an elite athlete, for whom performance, recovery, nutrition, sleep, and injury prevention are daily pillars, with the rigor and expertise of institutional asset management.

The WELL fund will invest globally in companies operating in the wellness and longevity sector, driven by the convergence of care, technology, nutrition, and lifestyle. The fund specifically targets areas such as fitness and mental wellness, nutrition, skincare, femtech, as well as services and technologies dedicated to preventive health. WELL deploys a growth strategy with a flexible approach to majority or minority stakes, in order to provide lasting support to the most promising players in this transforming ecosystem.
